ABOUT ME
Anda Vintiloiu, PsyD
Clinical Psychologist
Many people come to therapy because something in their life no longer feels manageable. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or find yourself wondering why you keep facing the same difficulties. Therapy provides the space to work within a trusting relationship, to slow down, make sense of these experiences, and begin to understand how they have come to shape your life.
As this understanding of your personal patterns grows, symptoms often begin to ease — opening the way to a more intentional life and richer relationships.
I have extensive experience supporting people dealing with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, perinatal mental health difficulties, PTSD and personality disorders. I work primarily from a psychodynamic and systemic perspective, exploring not only the difficulties that bring you to therapy but also the underlying patterns and unconscious processes and conflicts that shape your experiences and relationships. When helpful, I also draw on CBT and mindfulness.
I completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Montreal, Canada, and have worked as a clinical psychologist for nearly fifteen years. I offer therapy in English, French and Romanian, and have extensive experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I see culture as an important part of each person's identity and approach it with curiosity, openness and respect.

I obtained a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psych.D.) from the University of Montreal, Canada in 2013.
My area of interest and research was the psychodynamic understandings of personality in general and of Borderline Personality Disorder more specifically.

Over the past 15 years, I have worked as a clinical psychologist in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry units, a private practice specialising in personality disorders as well as more general private practice.
I have moved to Melbourne in 2023 and continue working in private practice, in Aged Care and as a clinical supervisor.
